| Who I think I am |
Hi, hello, nice to meet you! I’m Anissa and this is my blog. The first thing you need to know about me is I’m a novelist amateur novelist aspiring novelist wannabe author writer writer hopeful chronic collector of unfinished projects and useless things. I usually keep it all to myself, but after I was (self) diagnosed with BPD, NPD, DID, ADHD, CPTSD, post-concert depression, gifted kid burnout, main character syndrome and cyberchondria, I realized I needed a digital space of my own, where I could become who I am and not worry about conforming to other people’s idea of “normality”. Where I don’t have to be a “functional member of society”, and no one’s going to tell me to “put that toaster away from the bathtub”.
Okay, here’s another thing about me: I’m not interesting enough for a proper “about me” section. I’m sorry! I just wanted to have one because they’re such a staple of the classic blogging experience, and that’s what I’m trying to recreate, in this year of our lord 2026. This blog really is supposed to be my internet bedroom: part diary, part scrapbook, part corkboard, part dumping ground for whatever hyperfixation I’m up to this week. So if you stick around, I think you’ll end up learning a lot about me anyway. I hope we can be friends! š¤

(In all seriousness, I do have depression. If anyone out there is struggling with it too, please share your resources, ‘cause I don’t have any.)
